Welcome to My Biblical Foundation

Building a strong biblical foundation involves establishing a solid grounding in Christian faith and principles, enabling you to navigate life with unwavering trust in God. This foundation is built on the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of your life and that building a relationship with God is your primary goal.

Building a strong biblical foundation requires you to:

  • Study the Bible
  • Develop a strong prayer life
  • Reflect on Christ's teachings
  • Embrace spiritual growth
  • Engage in Christian community
  • Share your faith

My Biblical Foundation endeavors to provide you with a resource for developing a deeper understanding of God and a personal intimate relationship with Him through the study of God’s Word.

“Knowing God involves, first, listening to God’s word and receiving it as the Holy Spirit interprets it, in application to oneself; second, noting God’s nature and character, as His word and works reveal it; third, accepting His invitations, and doing what He commands; fourth, recognizing and rejoicing in, the love that He has shown in thus approaching one and drawing one into this divine fellowship.” J. I. Packer

Many Christians know the importance of the Bible in their lives. Many read the Bible and may even use a read through the Bible in a year plan, which is a great plan. Many also participate in deeper Bible studies such as John, Romans, or Paul’s letters, which is also very valuable. The focus of My Biblical Foundation is to give the Christian a more complete knowledge of the whole Bible. The purpose of My Biblical Foundation is to provide a way to learn from every chapter in the Bible. This is done by providing a consistent way to review and summarize each one. Allowing God's Holy Spirit to reveal God through His Word. The goal is to see all that God has revealed about Himself in His Word and develop a much more complete understanding of His character, in order to help develop a more personal and intimate relationship with Him.

For the word of God is living and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

Ultimately, studying the Bible helps believers connect with God, understand His character, and live a more fulfilling life.

The goals of studying God's Word with the help of the Holy Spirit are to:

1. Understand God and His Character:

• The Bible reveals God's nature, attributes, and actions throughout history.

• It provides insight into His love, mercy, justice, and power.

• By studying the Bible, believers can gain a deeper understanding of who God is and how He relates to humanity.

2. Enable Personal Transformation and Growth:

• The Bible is the source of truth that can lead to personal transformation and spiritual growth.

• It provides guidance on how to live a life pleasing to God, including ethical and moral principles.

• Studying the Bible helps believers develop a stronger relationship with God and become more like Christ.

3. Enhance Spiritual Discernment and Protection:

• Studying the Bible helps believers discern truth from falsehood and protect themselves from harmful teachings.

• It equips them to understand and apply biblical principles, leading to sound judgment and spiritual growth.

• By studying God's Word, believers can develop a strong foundation for their faith and navigate spiritual challenges.

4. Provide Guidance for Daily Life:

• The Bible offers practical wisdom and guidance for various aspects of life, including relationships, work, and decision-making.

• It provides principles for navigating difficult situations, making wise choices, and finding purpose in life.

• It helps believers understand their roles and responsibilities in different contexts.

With these goals in mind, My Biblical Foundation is designed to guide believers through the entirety of Scripture.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is
--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2

Consider King David's belief about God's Word:

And this is my prayer:
that your love may abound more and more
in knowledge and depth of insight,
so that you may be able to discern what is best
and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,
filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes
through Jesus Christ-- to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11
